Re: "MAGIC HARPS" Specific Layouts?

I have not played any of Magic's tunings.

If you examine how I diagram tunings, and then apply some method like that to Magic's tunings, it may help you to see some of the underlying logic. All you need is graph paper and some colored pencils.

Have fun.

Re: "MAGIC HARPS" Specific Layouts?

Re: A family of new modded-Richter tunings

Three-and-a-Third Times Richter

4Times Richter (a.k.a. Four Times Richter ) is arguably the most elegant harmonica tuning that is geared for blues/pop/rock. It is typically thought of as a tuning for 12-hole harps. But its minimalist magic can fit right into a 10-hole format. The trick is to truncate it on both ends as follows: h...

Brendan: I imagine you are already versed on compliant structures/mechanisms, especially in regards to 3D printing. Here are some examples:

Re: A family of new modded-Richter tunings

To add a bit of complexity to the tuning above, we can raise the 5 blow by three semitones. By the way, I see that there is a continuous Gmin chord from 3 to 10 in the draw layer. Please feel free to suggest ways that, within this tuning, that strip of Gmin harmony could be useful. http://www.brend...
