Re: Introduce yourself

Welcome, Your English is fine. Better than my skills in any language. And thanks for the intro, it is nice to know that we aren’t alone, that there are other people out there having fun with harmonicas and trying new things. This forum is a great place for experimenters to chat, and occasionally get...

Re: Accordion Reed Harmonica Experiments

Re: Any news?

Re: New Tool and Method for Improving Harmonica Reed Response

Nice simple Idea. I love it.

Re: PowerBender Versus EdHarmonica

Since the EDharmonica is basically a triple Paddy minus the Richter, it seems the Paddy Richter Lucky 13 would give you two octaves of the EDharmonica tuning with the possibility of a change of pace up top. Or you could take an A lucky 13, and by a little retuning get a proper EDharmonica layout in ...

Re: Comb of Fanfare S question

It is the same comb as used on their chromatics, so the button in and button out reeds need to be separated. That saves them some programming/ machining work. Also, tremolo reeds seem to work better with the divider, even though you activate both chambers at the same time. Without the divider there ...

Re: Notation Software with Harmonica Plugins - Recommendations wanted

I think the joke was the Mixolydian Irish Scale play on words. I appreciated it as well.

Re: Notation Software with Harmonica Plugins - Recommendations wanted

It might be easier to just do Jianpu or ABC format. Tunes at The Session website are in ABC but are instantly convertible to sheet or midi files. If I see a tune there that I like I open them in an app called midiscore and can then change the Key or tempo or whatever, and play it to get the rhythm a...
