Here is my version of Scott Joplin's classic 'The Entertainer', played on the new Lucky 13 in PowerChromatic Tuning:

If you want to learn to play it, check out this comprehensive Instructional Pack:

Nice!
Great playing.
Thanks
I like the idea of your instruction pack including jianpu notation. That makes it useful for transferring the lesson to any tuning or instrument. And jianpu is so logical it’s easier to learn than tab or standard notation.

I agree! I think harmonica players should adopt it as the preferred notation for our instrument, which comes in all 12 keys. Far more logical and easy to use than standard notes.

I wish I'd known about it a long time ago when I lived in London and was doing regular sessions. I made my own cod version, but Jianpu has it all nicely worked out. It has an interesting history:

If there is a way you can show the jianpu on the loopable midi files that would be something!
I’m tempted to purchase the lesson even though I don’t play PC.
Maybe I’ll make one.

I have moved towards using scale note number instead of hole number when working with various tunings.

I'm going to look into this jianpu

Just after I tuned my G to C!
I just ordered another G to replace it, and I will be downloading the packet later to start working on the song. Looks like a great lesson.

Great playing !

I discovered the PowerChromatic, very interesting to be able to bend on a chromatic harmonica.

This instructional video is a very good start for learning how to play it. I recommend it for anyone that is trying to learn this tuning. Since I have bought it, my weekends have been a bit hijacked, due to the new cycle, but I am turning back to it this weekend.

He breaks it down piece by piece in gross detail. I am looking forward to more lessons on the PC in the future.

Glad you're enjoying "The Entertainer" lesson Sachlaw, and thanks for the encouragement to do more PC lessons. Will do!

More lessons in general would be great.
Maybe done in blocks?
Chinese music for the slide diatonic ?
Irish music for the slide diatonic ?
Both for the PC?
Or pull a few tunes from Unadorned with lessons....
Great stuff so far, keep it coming.
