Hi Edvin

Sorry for the trouble you have had ordering. We made a lot of changes to the site yesterday. I have just tried to order what you listed and it is working for me, so please could you try again?

It seems to work if I exclude the blow plate gasket for the Session Steel. I've gone through most of the models, and for those I've tried a through-out regular breathing pattern is not compatible with a blow plate gasket.

Don't worry, I understand side effects are hard to avoid during maintenance :) I excluded the extra gasket sheets and thus got the order through. I'm looking forward to try them! :D

We will add the gaskets into your order for you.

Thanks for finding the issue with that particular combination - now fixed.

Here's a second Gasket-Valve video, with extra advice on a couple of aspects of fitting the parts:

I received my gasket valves earlier this week, but late nights at work, moving in a new room mate and travelling have kept me from trying them until just now.

My first reaction after putting them in was WOW! Such volume! I suppose this is what an airtight harp feels like!

The valved bends work really well, though I think I'll end up removing the draw plate valve in hole 7 to enable small normal blow bends there. As hinted in the video, Lee Oskars are a little tricky to fit, but I did manage to get both the valves and the gasket in there without too much effort. I do hear hear the valves some times, but this might just be me not having managed to align them properly, but this will have to wait as I really should be heading for bed. Tomorrow I'm off to Bingsjöstämman where I intend to install the rest and to put these valves under some heavy testing, so later this week I'll hopefully have more to say. I'll also try to compare the Seydel Session Steel model with the valves that come when ordering through their Harp Configurator.

So far I'm very happy with this purchase! :D

Actually, some of my gasket-valves sounds too, and i have done it after the recomendations . The valves to Seydel session are worst. Several of them sounds. Seydel favorite valves are better but still have a couple of holes sounding. I have done the process to fit them a couple of times over again but so far i have not managed to make them silent.

Good news bad news on the Gasket-Valves, it seems!

Glad you like yours Edvin, but sorry to hear you're having issues Lizzy. What do you mean by the valves sounding?
