An easy, chord-enriching mod of a Lucky 13 Solo

Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

An easy, chord-enriching mod of a Lucky 13 Solo

We can start with a Lucky 13 that is factory-tuned in Solo tuning, and by altering just five reeds, produce the following:

I chord (Cmaj)
ii chord (Dmin)
iii chord (Emin) - NEW
IV chord (Fmaj) - NEW
V chord (Gmaj) - NEW
vi chord (Amin) – NEW
vii° chord (Bdim)

Taking the above idea a little further ....

We can change every F to an F#. This puts the whole tuning into a G major context:
