Idea for slideless chromatic harp
Re: Idea for slideless chromatic harp
The S-50's layout seems more intuitive to me. I think I will try one.

Re: Idea for slideless chromatic harp
I think so as well. It depicts the layout of the harmonica exactly like you see it when looking on the mouthpiece.
Here you can see some more examples, if you like to adapt it as well:
Suzuki Humming SU-21-H (Tremolo)
Sorry, pdf seems not to be visible at the moment.
And my archive had a severe data breakdown newly. I can show you more examples when I have fixed it, if you like. I hope I can achieve this. A lot of work would be lost if I can not.

Re: Idea for slideless chromatic harp
Btw: The pictured display with two different colours for blow and draw reeds is suitable for harmonicas which change air direction with every reed on each reedplate. For harmonicas with only blow or only draw reeds on each reedplate the simple classical layout tab is sufficient. Anyone can easily understand a Richter layout or a solo layout or anything alike. But a layout like the Suzuki Humming SU-21-H (as shown in my last post) would not be understandable that easy with a classical tab, because the layout itself is not as intuitive at first sight as a Richter or a solo layout.
