Midi harmonica dm48

Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

Making real progress in taming this beast. It really helps to set things up for "Multi-Channel" midi, the more the better. "Solo Assist" isn't even necessary if each hole has its own channel. Now I'm just trying to find the best "patches" for it. The "Choir" patch in Acoustic Electro Waves sounds kind of like a Miles Davis muted trumpet.

My concern is that i always prefered the diatonic but now when DM48 is here im little curious about it. I love the powerbender tuning and i can hardly play anything else.
If i can transpose the powerbending tuning to DM48 it would be great. The only thing im not sure about is if i can transpose a layout that seems logic in terms of a breathing pattern like i have on my diatonic and even maybe extend it to Lucky 13. Theory is not my strongest side though.

I'm working on a mini pitchbender for the DM48. It can work with any tuning. Here is a sample of some tests with Richter tuning. C harp scale played in 2nd Position style:

Sounds promising...but as i asked in another post..can it be applied afterwards if you already bought DM48? I am not on the waiting list yet but maybe soon.

Yes, it's an add-on controller that mounts on the DM48. If it proves popular I'll make some of these available.

Alright guys here is my very first video using the DM-48! As an added bonus I'm also playing StreetLegal's "Spiral 5ths" tuning! This is recorded on a Windows 10 PC that is simultaneously running REASON with the Electro Acoustic Voices for wind synth. The particular voice I'm using is called "Thin Lead".

I know this is pretty short - but I've only been playing this Spiral Tuning for a couple of hours, so this is the best I could do for now. It's got some nice chord fragments. I like it!

As for the DM-48, if you look close you can see me use the top button slide in a couple of places. And if you hear a funny little "glitch" that's a little bit of bending/modulation too.

By the way, after playing the DM-48 for a week, I'm already wishing it had one more button (in the back of the harp perhaps) that is simply a register key or octave key. The button on the top is great but it can only have one function at a time. With some of the more limited range tuning I use, it would be great to be able to switch octaves on the fly, but ALSO have the programmable button on the top.

When you talk about Reason demo you mean the 30 Day trial version? Cant find any other softwares that is free to use with PC or Android.
