Re: X-HARPS : Personal Experimental Harmonica Project
A blues lick using electric guitar-style bends & vibrato, played on my latest experimental harmonica in this project: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C74yDwVo1BL/?igsh=YjQxZGlpYzc4YXZk Is it a fully acoustic play? Or did you use some electric / electronic amplification or even electronic effects...

Re: Chordomonica II with dual slide
I've long been an admirer of the many innovative harmonica ideas of the designer Chamber Huang, and this is one of his best :) I do not wonder about your admiration of CBH's ideas. And it is my opinion as well that the Chordomonica is one of his best. It is a real pity - or more clearly said: a rea...

What I nearly have forgotten: The dual slide harmonica.
It is the since long discontinued Hohner CHORDOMONICA II.
Because this is another subject, see here:

Chordomonica II with dual slide
Upon special request I want to remind of the Hohner Chordomonica II. It is the only harmonica I know that has two slides. It was invented by Cham-Ber Huang and produced by Hohner from the 1960-es until about the 1980-es and had unfortunately been discontinued. Nowadays an improved custom made versio...

Re: 3d Printed comb ideas to improve responsiveness
I would like to have a comb like this. So I could do my own research on it and compare it to those default tremolo and octave combs I mentioned in the other thread. I have several of those harmonicas and like to play them frequently. Could you print one for me? Sent in a simple letter it could not b...

Re: Discrete Comb, why not popular?
Why not use a tremolo- or an octave-comb? There a single reed channels in the Viennese type or double reed channels in the Knittlinger type. Both are divided horizontally. https://www.seydel1847.de/sailor-steel https://www.seydel1847.de/skydivertremolo https://www.seydel1847.de/club-steel https://ww...

Re: INTEGRATED SLIDER-MOUTHPIECE - Tech Tuesday #7
When you will have found the ideal form of this part, you can mill - or let mill - one out of brass or any other suitable metal. Or is there any self-lubricating effect of the plastic which is essential for the function?

Re: The MORBENDZ: As it Says on the Tin
"Regular Breath Tuning" was a name I gave to my first ever alternate tuning back around 1980 ... But now people are using the term with a generic, wider meaning. 'Regular Breath' now refers to any tuning where the breathing pattern is the same throughout the whole harp. In practice, that ...

Re: The MORBENDZ: As it Says on the Tin
For regular breath tunings no extra reed is needed, much simpler to make! We have that version coming later. What is meant with "regular breath tuning"? Is that e.g. the "solo tuning" like in a default standard chromatic? And does "much simpler to make" mean, that its ...
