Who will do custom tunings on Trochilus?
Like the title says. Please state the +/- semitones you are comfortable with altering on reeds -- this might or might not involve reed replacement. No blue-tac or other non-permanent alterations. Also please indicate the country you are in.

Re: Bluesy slide-harp tuning
A correction to the first sentence of a paragraph above:
Pushing the slider in drops each of the slide-out draw notes of holes 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9 and 10 from what would have been their respective draw-bends to the next lower blues scale note.

Re: Slide Diatonic tuning ideas for blues and rock: "Wilde Slide" Tuning
You might consider a Lee Oskar tuning called "Seventh Son". In that tuning, the 1 blow is lowered by two semitones while the 1 draw is raised by three semitones. These changes provide dominant sevenths for (in second position) the I chord and the IV chord. This also affords some super-deep draw-bend...

Re-tunings of Double Paddy Lucky 13, based on Feadan (Randy Goodhew) and Major Cross (Tony Eyers)
I propose a trio of re-tunings for the Lucky 13 in its Double Paddy Richter variant.
Historically I should note the following from Pat Missin’s catalog:
Now for the re-tunings:

Re: Spiral, then Dmin/Cmaj
I want to point out that all of the above discussions omit the possibilities of overblows. I invite your thoughts on that but I am not an overblower and never will be. To each his own.

Re: Spiral, then Dmin/Cmaj
Four posts above this one, I considered the possibilities of minor blues scales (with b3, b5 and b7). Here is the rundown for major blues scales (with b3 only). 1st position: yes, starting at 1 blow 2nd position: yes, starting at 4 draw, but with two tricky draw-bends 3rd position: yes, starting at ...

Re: Spiral, then Dmin/Cmaj
As I continue to consider the tuning two posts above, the possibilities of minor blues scales (with b3, b5 and b7) is an afterthought, but an interesting and important one. Here is the rundown: 1st position: yes with three draw-bends, the third being a whole tone 2nd position: no 3rd position: yes i...
