Re: Any news?

Im glad that you are working on it again... I think its close to a year since you first announced it so it is good news for me :D . Unibender/X-reed- "retuned chromatic without a slider"....a direction to the discontinued ChromaBender? So far the advantage to unibender is that its adaptable t...

Re: EDharmonica, by Seydel

If i missed it..they dont tell how overblows are possible for beginners. I guess it is like on powerbender that they are possible to a lower tuned draw reed but you need training and skill to master them even on this edharmonica.

Re: The SlipSlider Mk2 - Special 20 on Steroids!

I have now played with Slipslider mk2 for a while. I agree that this is a better version of the slipslider than mk1. But i experienced a couple of minor issues with mk2 but it could also be me and my way to handle the slipslider wrong. I noticed that it had some slippery surface on the lower reedpla...

Re: The OVERBLOW BOOSTER - Overblows Made Easy, New OB Effects

I actually had one hole on the big insert that did not fit over the screw at all so it did not clamp on or having a good fit like the small insert had. The seal was easier for me to solve with a little more foam.

Re: The SlipSlider Mk2 - Special 20 on Steroids!

Yes, I think so. I'm in France now and then only have a short window before flying to Beijing for the APHF festival, and after that only a week till SPAH. in the gaps I'll be busy with orders and preparing stuff for the festivals. Making alternate versions of things takes care and attention and qui...

Re: The SlipSlider Mk2 - Special 20 on Steroids!

Yes, alternate tunings is the reason why i keep playing Seydel. Its so easy to just press the button in the custom shop and there you have it. And I also have a go on the overblow booster when its ready. I guess that the overblow booster and inserts for powerbender have to wait until you are back fr...

Re: The SlipSlider Mk2 - Special 20 on Steroids!

Yes, Seydel often have some drawbacks regarding their overall design to apply your ideas on.Mainly to Slipslider concept. I also noticed that small particles from the stainless reeds (or from my working table) got stuck on the magnets when tuning the reeds or working on reedplate with rotary tools. ...
