Re: Pentatonic tunings
My aforementioned post began with: "NAME: "Black badge tuning". (Can you see why?)" It is because the five draw notes--which can be draw-bent to their flat "black note" accidentals--are D, E, G, A and B. Therefore, the black/flatted draw bends of (rearranged) BADGE. Or simply "Black badge". For sure...

Re: THE TWO "DO IT!" POSTS, ABOVE
I have created a separate thread dedicated to discussing the two (or more?) versions of Dale King's "Do it!" tuning. That thread is here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=255

Different versions of "Do it! / Easy 3rd" tuning
Recently I was looking into “Easy 3rd / Do It!” tuning. In this post: http://www.brendan-power.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&p=1481&sid=7a9acd6a1bbbd4fbd1a0f32f9c84fdb8#p1480 I noted that: “Sources on the web show some disagreement as to the 7 draw note. NOTE: Sources on the web show some disagreement as to the 7 draw note. For C major tuning, some show it as a B, and others show a D. Please PM IaNerd if you can clarify this.

Re: Pentatonic harmonica
From above: "Indeed, a skilled professional might not need them. He can do everything with any standard tuning." This is true of only in the very limited sense of single-note play. Richter and some alternate tunings are actually pretty slim in terms of chordal play. Which is fine, if you want to wor...

Does "Richter-double-solo" exist?
Just wondering ... If you had a harp with Richter's 1 through 7, followed by an octave of solo (i.e. Richter's 4 through 7 but an octave higher), you would now have an eleven-hole "Richter-double-solo". Would I be correct in guessing that this has already been done? Maybe in a 12-, 13-, 14- or 16-ho...
