Re: THE TWO "DO IT!" POSTS, ABOVE

I have created a separate thread dedicated to discussing the two (or more?) versions of Dale King's "Do it!" tuning. That thread is here: http://www.brendan-power.com/forum/view ... ?f=9&t=255

Different versions of "Do it! / Easy 3rd" tuning

Recently I was looking into “Easy 3rd / Do It!” tuning. In this post: http://www.brendan-power.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&p=1481&sid=7a9acd6a1bbbd4fbd1a0f32f9c84fdb8#p1480 I noted that: “Sources on the web show some disagreement as to the 7 draw note. For C major tuning, some show it as a B...

Re: Pentatonic harmonica

From above: "Indeed, a skilled professional might not need them. He can do everything with any standard tuning." This is true of only in the very limited sense of single-note play. Richter and some alternate tunings are actually pretty slim in terms of chordal play. Which is fine, if you w...

Re: A family of new modded-Richter tunings

The August 02 tuning (above) becomes the August 28 tuning (below) by making the following modifications: 1. Delete the notes in chamber 6. 2. Move the the notes that had been in chambers 7-10 leftward by one space. 3. Fill the vacated chamber 10 with a C blow and a D draw. Why this tuning matters: A...

"Regular-breath" Overblow Booster?

Brendan: You mentioned at one point that you had designed an OB for regular-breath tunings like PowerBender, PowerDraw etc. (i.e. a single insert for the blow reedplate). Will you make these available for purchase? If so, for which brands/models of harps?
