Re: Looping vid

Probably the cheaper the better, if you want an amped sound. A 1/4 inch jack is useful too. This is one I like: http://www.inta-audio.com/microphones-c58/lavalier-headset-microphones-c478/qtx-tie-clip-uni-directional-microphone-p4190/s4197?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=qtx-tie-clip-uni-d...

In your music software. I'm using Reason patches on the demo, and I changes the default 2-semitone pitch bend for each patch.

Jamming with Tim Edey - Various Harps

Yesterday my musical buddy Tim Edey and I got together for a quick play before our first gig in a year. Here are a few snippets: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFQL0HR8-9I For those interested in the harmonicas, tunes and tunings: 1. Dallas Airport Rag (E) - PowerBender SUB30 Lucky 13 in A 2. The S...

BloThru OctaChroms - Octave Chromatic Harmonicas

The rich octave sound, two reeds playing together an octave apart, is one of the most appealing free-reed tonalities. It has never been available on slider chromatics before - but now it is, in two types! My unique OctaChrom and patent-pending OctaChrom Selectable give you that rich double-reed timb...

Re: What to seal combs with.

As an alternative idea, I'll be releasing some 3d printed PowerCombs for the Hohner 12 and 14 hole diatonics soon. Prototypes are made and tested, just got to do the webpage, video etc

Re: Blues Harp Mouthpiece and Mini PitchBender for the DM48

Sorry for the slow reply Lizzie. The adjustment must be made in the sound patch. Most are set for 2 semitones of bend.

Re: Chrometta Mouthpiece

You can use any 12 hole metal mouthpiece. I think that was from a Suzuki Leghorn (now discontinued).

Re: What Would You Like to See?

Thanks for the ideas everyone.

I'm currently in a phase of reorganising my workshop/production system to allow me to free up more time for videos etc. July/August will be busy with releasing a backlog of new harps etc but hopefully after that!

Re: How would you retune an Asia Bend?

Use a screwdriver with a bigger handle but the correct small tip. The reeds are phosphor bronze. They will take solder well if you lightly scrape or polish off the outer surface. However taking them down a fifth or more could dull the tone. It would be better to alter them less by starting the tunin...
