Re: PowerChromatic realization

David: yes, I was talking about a PowerChromatic in G, starting on A blow: AB. CD. EF#. GA. etc That's an interesting grading system Edvin. What are your criteria for 'good' and 'very good'? I'm assuming you mean something like 'ease of playing' or 'flow'. Here's a video of a PowerChromatic in G goi...

It's a location marker on the front of the comb. Info and photos here:

Re: PowerChromatic realization

Glad you like PowerChromatic David. I guess that is one in G?

You can also get enharmonics for many other notes as slide-in draw bends. All the draw slide-out notes can be duplicated this way:

A. B. D. F#

And all the slide-in blow notes:

A#. C#. F. G#.

Re: TuneMaster harmonica

Actually it's not necessary to drill holes in the covers, since they are Jim's Turbolids: pull-off snap-on in seconds.

Re: Diatonic PowerCombs and Stealth-Valves Released

The new valving solution is finally here, the Gasket-Valve: http://www.brendan-power.com/GasketValves.php Thanks to all for your patience and trust. 🙏 BTW: with the Gasket-Valve's arrival, my diatonic PowerComb range has lost its primary selling point: the valve pockets, to accommodate the bases of ...

Re: Paddy richter slide diatonic creation

Sorry for the delayed reply Jimbo. Thanks to Edvin for the accurate tuning advice. On the D version: high key Switch-Harps suffer from the dreaded Helmholtz Resonance Coupling phenomenon, which makes the upper octave reeds go significantly flat. If you're playing in the lower two octaves it will be ...

Re: Introducing the GASKET-VALVE System

Apologies: I was assuming you meant the Solist Pro 12. I didn't realise Seydel had a Solist Pro 10 hole harp. Just found it on their site, it looks like the Classic. Good news: the Seydel sandwich (1847 type) Gasket-valve will fit all their 10 hole harps, including the Solist Pro. I think I have a S...
