Quick Q: Have you seen this?
I've been exploring and writing about a tuning which includes a repeating chunk of this: BLOW: BDFA DRAW: CEGB Before I embarrass myself again by "introducing" something that is already established ... please let me know if you recognize this sequence. Details about its provenance would also be appr...

Re: Re-tuning from Solo to either "normal" or "inverted" Natural Minor
Since the introduction of Lucky 13s in PowerChromatic tunings, we now have an easier way to re-tune into natural minor. See this: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=827#p3630

Re-tuning from PowerChromatic to "inverted" Natural Minor
Contributor Lucho showed here: https://www.brendan-power.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=818 that PowerChromatic can very easily be re-tuned to a Natural Minor scale. For those who like their harps to be "inverted" (à la Dick Fosbury ), here is another way to go from PowerChromatic to Natural Minor: A...

Re: Minor tuning adjustment to Power Chromatic Lucky 13
You've got a lovely and simple re-tuning there, Lucho. Bravo! I've got a re-tuning which is similar insofar as it converts a Lucky 13 to a natural minor tuning. But mine is different in two ways. First, it is based on a Solo Lucky 13. Second, the resultant natural minor scale has an "inverted" breat...

Re: Seydel Nonslider
With appropriate tunings, this could be a slideless/valveless alternative to their Sampler model.

Q#3: Is the reed interaction of draw bending any different when reeds are above/below each other as opposed to side-by-side?

Thanks for your detailed response. Interesting!
As for my own Q#1, I intended "slur" to mean a glissando or smooth overlapping transition from one note to another. This might be a USA usage of the word slur.

Re: Seydel Nonslider
Two questions.... #1. I wonder if this model is therefore capable of a more convincing/overlapping slur between two blow notes of vertical alignment, or of two draw notes of vertical alignment. Any owners trying this? #2. Would/could this new mouthpiece essentially convert a compatible straight-tune...
