Re: The SlipSlider - a Revolutionary Blues Harp.

The regular-breath SlipSlider for tunings like PowerBender/PowerDraw is now available. Here's the demo video (last third deals with this variant): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4eEhTgZbi6Y And here's the info page, including a special assembly video for those who want to make their own Seydel Slip...

Re: Unibender

It's pretty much ready, though I'd need to double check everything as I haven't looked at it for a while. There is another product coming after I have all the SlipSlider versions out, then I'll get to the UniBender.

Recent Live Videos and their Harmonicas

We can get a bit dry on this forum talking about tunings, slides, rocker-arms and other technical stuff, but it's good to remember that these things are all just means to an end: to play the music we love in a pleasing way! In the case of this forum, they are alternate approaches that can hopefully ...

Re: The SlipSlider - a Revolutionary Blues Harp.

Pics can be attached but they need to be a ridiculously small size, will see if that can be increased.

In the meantime you can use the Resize option in an app like Paint on PCs to reduce photo size.

Re: X-Reed Chromatic Twin-Harmonica Mk3

You can actually make one already using two Suzuki SUB30s in the Switch-Harp. Since the SUB30 only comes in three keys you'll need to buy two in the same key and tune one a semitone higher. If you want to do this, choose the Suzuki lipped version of the Switch-Harp: http://www.brendan-power.com/harm...

Re: Spanish tuning

This tuning lends itself to lots of nice bending, an essential part of any good harmonica tuning I think. Would love to hear you playing it Triona, if you fancy posting a music clip sometime.

Re: The SlipSlider - a Revolutionary Blues Harp.

Send some photos of your SlipSlider harps with those add-ons people, I'm curious to see them :)

Wouldn't double-sided tape work instead of glue? Removable in case you want to try something else.

Re: The SlipSlider - a Revolutionary Blues Harp.

Interesting checking out your grip solutions, E6000 glue and finishing washers. I've ordered some to check out. While researching grip tapes I also discovered the strange world of fingerboarding, that I never knew existed... They have some interesting looking finger grip tapes, either with grit or n...
