Re: QUESTION: Is diatonic solo tuned harmonica with recessed reedplates and 12 holes produced?

Why it must be recessed (= lipped) combs? With standard combs of wood there would be Seydel Solist Pro 12. And if it could be 13 holes as well, there would be Brendan's Lucky 13 with standard plastic combs. And these are even available readily tuned as Power Chromatics as well. dear greetings triona

Re: Looking for a Hohner Bass slider mouthpiece.

Those seem to be quite rare anyway. Does Brendan remenber, how many of them are out at all? I was intrigued by the idea at first sight too. But then I started to think about the costs and the additional work effort to finish the setup, and then I compared it to the likelihood how often I would play ...

Re: Lucky 13 - Best harp I've played!

I am still impressed with mine after quite a bit of playing time on my PowerChro G, D and C (retuned). I will be looking to get Gnarly to tune one down to A for me soon. I would get a full set of keys, if they were available. I guess the fact that these are playable chromatically makes most people ...

Re: Regular Scottish Tuning

Aha, looks interesting. And has a little bit from this tuning of one of my Seydel Samplers, at least considering the function: https://up.picr.de/35270179sp.jpg I got the idea from Donald Black, who comes from Scotland indeed. He uses the tuning on a turn around tremolo from Hohner ("Highlander", a ...
