I imagine that the sliders need to have some friction to not move too easy. But imagine if Seydel could make coverplates with the sliders on different locations? Update: windsavers from www.deesfti.com. I have tested these for a week now on my halfvalved Soloist Pro 12 and must say they are not prone to stick like other windsavers i have tried.( I often have plenty of saliva and often before a week or so either one or another windsaver from other manufacture...

Looking forward to it, Brendan! For now it seems that halfvalving with windsavers is the simplest way to achieve missing notes.🙄
