Mind out: The picture of the modal scales shows German notation.
H = B (major), h = Bm (minor), B = Bb, b = Bbm, Es/es, As/as = Eb, Ab etc, Fis = F# = F sharp, Ges = Gb = G flat etc
But I think you can find the pic in English notation as well on wikipedia.

Re: Playing PowerBenders in different keys
A tab that gets you the scale of Em on an A-harp will get you the scale of Gm on a C-harp, provided you use harps tuned in the same tuning system each. This will work as well for any scale in any key. You can count that out easily on the circle of fifth. https://up.picr.de/44206476ti.jpg For other m...

Re: Harmonicas with Modular Reedplates
The first point which Dorothy mentioned - tracking and marking of single modular reeds when mounted, changed or stored - is an issue I have struggled with as well. And I still have not found my final solution for this. Therefore I am interested in further informations and new ideas about this too. I...

Re: MODULAR-REED HARMONICA - Released!
And one more question I forgot yesterday: Did you find a good way to label the single reeds permanently without scratches or other damages to their surface which could tarnish the air-tightness? How are single reeds labeled for distribution now? I did it like this up till now: https://up.picr.de/43...

Re: MODULAR-REED HARMONICA - Released!
I do have a couple of questions. Me too. And btw @Brendan: this is a longtime experience report as well. Here are some answers to rishios questions and my own questions in addition: - Does the adhesive wear down after a few times of taking it apart, causing the seal to leak? Yes, it does. The adhes...

... keys C/A/F#/Eb ... That seems to me to be related to the "Diminished" tuning: https://up.picr.de/43532313jh.jpg https://up.picr.de/43532314zr.jpg https://up.picr.de/43532315wg.jpg This can start with each one of the notes without changing the 3 different blow-draw-patterns to play any key: http...

Re: JOKER "superchromatic"
Apparently Hugh Stephenson held a patented for this particular tuning as per 1950. It would have come as a surprise to me if I were the first to come up with this idea. But to find out something what one has not yet known by oneself is very satisfying anyway. :D Novelty is in the eye of the beholde...

Re: Seydel Nonslider
However...i experience it easier to get it more airtight with the nonslider. Its just one part instead of three. And in addition to this: You can tighten the screws harder, because there is no slide that can be obstructed or blocked by too tight srews. But anyway: Off from the airtightness - the pl...
