Re: Power Chromatic

My goal with it was to be able to play all chromatic notes. That is achieved and i can play all 12 major scales but maybe i am are ...

Re: Discontinued
The ChromaBender was discontinued due to problems with the maker, Hering. They have been taken over by new management and communication, always difficult, became too tiresome to deal with. Eventually the hassle factor outweighed everything else and it was simply easier to cease dealing with the com...

Re: The MiniChrom / SwitchHarp is Released
Thanks , I’ll be sure to watch out for that when I put mine together. And... As Brendan advice halfvalving is a must, but this is only standard procedure for me since i have done this for serveral years already. I use Seydel valves but Brendans stealth valves is hard to beat if someone is not use t...

Re: The MiniChrom / SwitchHarp is Released
Anyone get one yet? Impressions or issues, or tips for assembly and playing? I have one on order, but I was just wondering if any regular players had given it a run yet. Brendan, Boris, and Mitch make it sound great! But then, they could play blades of grass and sound good. I have a minichromatic/S...

Re: Asiabend or solo-tuned unibender?
We got a big number of orders for the SwitchHarp/MiniChrom and it overwhelmed our capacity to make them quickly. We stopped orders for a short time to improve production systems. The UniBender will be out in about two weeks when we are confident we can make and ship all the TwinDiatonics quickly. T...

Still waiting for the Unibender...close to release?
Im used to play halfvalved. Is the technique to do bends with xreeds similar to halfvalved?

Re: How would you retune an Asia Bend?
The x-reeds simply need to be bent out a bit for tuning, so they have a normal gap and sound when blown. When you have them at the pitch you want return them to zero gap. Only the blow x-reeds should be sharp, the draws tuned as you normally would. Does the Unibender also require tuning of the x-re...
