Irish Christmas song

Post by madden » Thu Nov 07, 2019 8:51 am

Ok it’s time to find a new song for the Christmas celebration this year. Last year it was, Christmas in Killarney. Im hoping someone can give me an idea for a good Irish/Celtic Christmas song to learn and play by Christmas. I have a guitar player and myself with a D harp as well as my G-Lucky 13 will be back in service with its new valve gaskets in place! Thank you for any ideas.

The Chieftains had released one or more explicite Christmas-CDs too. These must be still available. If you check out the web for them there are shown some more Christmas-CDs by other Irish / Celtic artists as well.

Ok have decided this year the song will be “Christmas in County Kerry”. I’ve gotten my Lucky 13 back with new valve gasket installed, so we shall see how it goes—fingers crossed 🤞
