Good morning all.

I'm new to the site and not an accomplished player... but in my favor I do have a goodly amount of experience, in life not harmonicas, in excess of 90 years to be exact. I haven't played in a long time but have some harps that need work. I figured if I was going to have them worked on it would be well to have them updated also. I have been very capable of doing maintenance on all sorts of gadgets and widgets in the past but for some unexplainable reason my fingers, and my eyes just don't work as well as they once did. I find it very difficult to use a small screwdriver or pick up tiny objects. Perhaps others have some experience along those lines and will understand what I mean.

I'd like to order the Power Combs for old 270s but just know I will not be able to do the fine fitting necessary to install them correctly.

So my question is... are there shops, in the US, where they specialize in Brandon's Power accessories or that do these conversion/replacement/tuning things? I am willing to pay for the work to be done but want to know that it will be done well. Thus my query about shops/individuals who are experienced with "Power" accessories.

Thanks.

Thanks for joining us! Yes, there are USA customisers who can do the work you require.

FYI we have a list of reputable harp techs on my website:

For your job Burke Trieschmann would be a good choice, as he has done many of the PowerComb conversions.

Thank you very much. I'll reach out to him.

Brendan... I tried twice to follow through, via email, with your recommendation to contact Burke T from his website. That's the only place I could find any contact info. At any rate, the contact info just gives an email address (no link) and using that address the email has been returned. Tried it twice, once typing the address, the second time copying and pasting.

Any other way to make contact with him that you can share?

Thanks.
