Double Paddy?

Post by mr grouchy » Tue Mar 26, 2024 10:40 am

I read someplace about someone playing a Lucky 13 tuned Double Paddy? What is the tuning layout?

Thanks.

I guess it is the regular Lucky13 Paddy. It repeats hole 1-3 of the default 10/20 model an octave below.

All of the charts are C. If you need any other, just transpose.

Thank you. Makes sense to me and time to buy a few Lucky 13’s Paddy Richter tuning.

There are exactly 3. :D

But if you are a hard and heavy player you maybe should buy 2 in the key of G, if you want to save cost of shipment in the future.

I have all 3. They are nice instruments, have good response, low air consumption, high volume and a nice sound. But the heavily thickend low reeds are prone to break under hard and heavy attack such as constant slapping or hard chordal shredding. And unfortunately there are no spare reeds to buy for repair.
