R!bo's Fiddle Harp

Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

R!bo's Fiddle Harp

Post by r!Bo. » Fri Sep 21, 2018 6:39 pm

This is something I came up Years ago while thinking about playing Bluegrass Harmonica.

The Concept is universal among all the Keys .
Using this concept You can take Two Harmonicas of the same MFG and Model
And marry them accordingly
Use the lower plate draw from a G Ritcher
And the upper plate blow From an A Ritcher
or ex.use the same concept in Draw C Blow D ect. or any key You wish to try
When You Play it Think Fiddle Double stops.
Kinda limited on the scales but good for Bluegrass and Old Timey Country style accompaniment.
