You nailed it. It's a quirky design with a rubber mouthpiece that rests directly on a PTFE/Teflon slide. The rubber mouthpiece is my simple method of creating an airtight mouthpiece assembly.

That's a great concept.
How does the action feel.
How many of those combs did you have made?

The action is very smooth. I'd say it's a bit more slippery and light than my East top chromatic, and because the slide is made of pure PTFE/Teflon there are no issues with the slide sticking. I'm in the bad habit of playing while I'm drinking coffee with cream and sugar and wine and all that crud never causes the slide to stick. I had 25 combs made, but I only have parts for 15 harmonicas. I've talked to someone about building and selling the harmonicas for me, but I'm waiting until I get parts for 25 before I get the ball rolling.

Hi David, I saw on Harp-L you have an update to your excellent chrom, but the link didn't work. Always interested to see your new stuff, so please keep us informed here :-)

Your machined comb looks beautiful BTW.

Thanks for letting me know Brendan! If you have any suggestions for a catchy name let me know. I hope to have something to sell in the very near future. I'll keep you updated on my progress.
