Seydel Nonslider

Anything apart from the two mainstream default harmonicas (Solo-tuned fully-valved chromatic, and un-valved Richter 10-hole diatonic). Alternate tunings, different construction, new functionality, interesting old designs, wishful-thinking... whatever!

However...i experience it easier to get it more airtight with the nonslider. Its just one part instead of three.

And in addition to this: You can tighten the screws harder, because there is no slide that can be obstructed or blocked by too tight srews.

But anyway: Off from the airtightness - the playing technique is something one has to learn and get used to. It is quite different from playing a slider chrom. And both have their pros and cons. They are alternatives for different purposes and usage. They are no replacement for each others. They are a complement to each others.

Yes, i noticed. And i also lubricated it which makes it completley airtight. No, its not going to replace the slider, its just a alternative to some players. And i like things with few parts. More parts is often more sensitive and need to interact smooth with each other to work properly. I just like the response better with the nonslider. Its just a new thing to learn. Just better for me, but not better for everyone.
