slide diatonic for Dorian and minor key tunes

slide diatonic for Dorian and minor key tunes

I have two slide diatonics, G&D. I have found with the slide in, I can play Dorian and and minor key tunes with the exception of the missing C sharp in the D and the missing F Sharp on the G. Any way around this besides leaving out these notes?
