A space for players interested in my specialist harmonicas, alternate tunings, instructional material, recordings etc to ask questions and share information, experiences, videos etc.
One more interesting idea from long ago by Cham-Ber Huang: https://www.chamberhuang.com/cbh2016.html
It seems to be related with this to some degree. I did not yet understand the construction fully. But at least the slide seems to be on the back of the harmonica as well.

Thanks Triona. The CBH16 is a famous and highly innovative chromatic harmonica, albeit with some curious flaws (long distance to the reeds being the main one). If does have a clever and unique slide system, but the slide is on the front of the instrument.
They have not been made for a long time, but are still highly sought after by some players. Robert Bonfiglio is the best known CBH16 player: he uses them exclusively.
