I've spent decades trying out different valve materials for my own harps - for both single valves and my unique Gasket-Valves. I finally found a material that ticks all the important boxes: rugged, non-stick, and low noise. I've also come up with a way to provide my single valves on a handy strip with adhesive already attached, so there's no need for messing about with glue! This makes them super easy and fast to attach to the reedplate, without any special skill - anyone can do it, with just a small pair of scissors and some tweezers.
The valves can also be quickly removed without leaving any mark or residue. This means if you're curious about trying half-valving on a diatonic harp, you can now do so quickly (and reversibly, if you don't like it). They will fit every brand and model of diatonic harp, as well as the new valveless chromatics like the popular JDR Trochilus, Easttop Forerunner, Kmise etc. They can also be used to replace damaged valves in standard chromatic harmonicas.
I demonstrate how to install them in three different types of harmonica in the Fitting Video. Please watch it all the way through before you order for the harp you're wanting to attach my Power-Valves to - as you'll need different numbers according to the type.
They come in strips of 12 single valves. For half-valving a 10-hole diatonic harp you'll need just one strip, for half-valving the Trochilus and Forerunner you'll need at least two strips (or three, if you want to add extra outside valves).
